Introduction
Bankovní identita a.s. aims for a world where digital access is easy and barrier-free. With the BankID project, clients simply use their internet banking to log in, linking their bank identity to government registers. This method makes sure the infrastructure and overall solution are highly secure.
Target
DX Heroes helped ensure successful integration testing and rapid support for banks integrating with the BankID platform. The goal was to provide quality assurance, facilitate communication between banks, and ensure smooth end-to-end testing to enable millions of Czech bank clients to access digital identity services.
Process
Our work involved quickly identifying errors using multiple tools and responding to queries to ensure correct integrations. We held weekly meetings with banks to discuss progress and address any challenges. We ensured quality assurance, provided rapid support, facilitated communication, conducted comprehensive integration testing, and implemented secure authentication with JWT/JWE tokens and mTLS encryption.
Result
In our partnership, we swiftly handled inquiries and analyzed the data flow to identify and resolve errors. We developed test lists for new BankID features, helped launch several major banks into production with BankID, provided digital identities to millions of customers, achieved 1.6 million users in the first year, and 80% of users who log in to government services now use BankID.
